Katy Trail Highlights...

The Missouri Katy Trail is the longest continuous rails-to-trail in the country! This historic trail follows the Missouri river through the heart of the state, offering scenic views as well as entirely car-free riding on trail. Nestled along the trail, you will find unique cafes, wineries, boutiques and more! We encourage you to take your time and really explore these quaint towns!

While you ride during the day, our crew will collect your luggage and get your accommodations prepared for that evening. Our SAG crew will be strategically placed along the trail to provide you with snacks and other refreshments, repairs or anything else you might need.

We also have some awesome group events throughout the tour!

Travel and Lodging...

Planning on flying? Fly into Lambert Airport in St. Louis. From there you are a short 15 minute ride to our first overnight location in St. Charles. We recommend using Lyft or Uber as they are typically cheaper than a taxi.

Those who are driving themselves can use the parking lot at Tru Hilton: St. Charles. This will be our long term parking lot for the week. The shuttle bus will be dropping off here at the end of the week.

Your 6 nights lodging begins at the Tru Hilton: St. Charles on April 27th. We have not reserved rooms for the end of the trip on May 3rd. If you are staying an extra night, please make arrangements outside the tour.

Questions about the tour...

What is the trail surface like?

  • The trail surface is a loose, crushed limestone. We recommend bringing a mountain bike or touring road bike.

Are there rental bikes available?

  • We suggest renting at The "Bike Stop Cafe" near the St. Charles trailhead, we can help you contact them directly.

Where do I ship my bike for assembly?

  • We assemble and disassemble bikes in house for $120. We recommend using BikeFlights for the best shipping rates.
